Becoming a software engineer was a dream come true. I work with computers, I am creative, and the job has a fancy title.
The title software engineer certainly had all my family members clutch their pearls in awe and admiration (even though I feel it doesn’t compare to what “real” engineers do).
But it isn’t always what I expected…
